Our Solemn Obligation
Thirty men who honorably served  this city did not go home to their families at the end of their shift. Their watch ended instead with the ultimate sacrifice. They were faithful to their duties, and it is our solemn obligation to honor their memory and sacrifice.

When a police officer is killed in the line of duty, their loss has had a profound impact on the community they served, the police officers who called him brother or sister, and most especially, the family he left behind.

We honor these men, and all who have fallen in the service of others.
